Hi, It's Icella! I've been thinking about how most grownup's perspective of global warming is "I want to help stop it, but it's so hard to stop and I don't know what to do." That is not a good thought about global warming at all. Global warming is so big and serious that it can't stop on its own. And, that way, the grownups who do work very hard to stop it aren't getting any credit because in my parents generation, global warming hasn't really gotten better, but worse. That's because there are so few people helping and so many people making it worse. If we want to stop global warming, we have to work as a team. Everyone. That's because everyone makes a difference. I'm just a kid, but look at what I'm doing: I'm making a difference by writing this blog. Everyone can help. Even kids. Especially kids.

Hi, it's me, Icella. Yesterday, I got a new journal that said on the front cover, The things in life that make you smile are the only things that really matter. Cars don't make me smile, so they don't matter. Our earth is fragile and precious, and cars take up space, make pollution, kill and hurt people, and draw people away from nature. Our earth can't afford things like that. And I bet only about 10 grownups in Seattle have ever taken the time to look closely at a leaf, a butterfly hovering in the air, a bee inside a flower. Instead, they take all of their time focusing on... that big piece of machinery in the driveway! We've had our fun with cars, but we went to far. It was fun for awhile, but now it's time to stop.

Hi, my name is Icella, and the purpose of this blog is to inform people about global warming and what they can do about it. If you're a kid like me and you want to save the earth, then this is the blog for you! I hope you like this blog and get inspired to help our earth. Global warming is a surprisingly new thing, and it's really, really serious. I know I can help solve this problem, but without support, agreement, and teamwork, I can't do a thing. It's really up to people to either agree or disagree to save the earth. Everyone has a part in this, because everyone makes pollution. You can't turn back. Global warming is getting worse, and we have no choice but to step in and save the world.
